Kicking off our Auckland Launch with kindness
We are excited to announce that Collaborate has officially launched in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland on Random Acts of Kindness Day!
“Community, generosity and kindness is truly at the heart of everything we do at Collaborate, so there’s no better day to launch in Auckland than on National Random Acts of Kindness Day.”
In celebration of the launch, we collaborated with MYOB, Youth Arts New Zealand and I got your backpack and held an ‘interactive kindness stall’ today at Auckland’s viaduct, encouraging locals to participate in random acts of kindness activities.

A few lucky passers by received $50 Prezzy Cards, thanks to MYOB. Since then, we have heard that two of these vouchers were donated to charity and one was left as a nice surprise for a friendly, young waiter. Kindness really is contagious!
We want to thank everyone who made this event a huge success; our wonderful Auckland Regional Leads, I got your backpack, Youth Arts NZ, MYOB and everyone who came along to the viaduct to celebrate this national day with us.
The kindness doesn’t need to stop there. With Collaborate well and truly launched in the mighty Tāmaki Makaurau, there are heaps of volunteering opportunities you can get involved in.
