NZ Hi-tech Award Finalist for a second year in a row
We are extremely proud to announce that were named as finalists in, not one but, two categories for the NZ Hi-Tech Awards 🎉
For the second year in a row Collaborate has been named a finalist in Best Hi-Tech Solution for the Public Good category. We are absolutely thrilled by this achievement as it celebrates the thousands of people who are the community behind Collaborate. If you are one of the thousands of people who have consulted on, co-designed and used Collaborate then this is for you! While the technology helps the connections, it is the people, the volunteers and the community organisations that really make a difference. We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped shape Collaborate and turn it into what it is today.
We are also thrilled to have Holly Norton, co-founder and Chief of Community named as a Hi-Tech Young Achiever of the Year Finalist.
The Awards Night
Abbey, Holly, Ceara and Sandy had a wonderful night celebrating the wonderful tech industry in Aotearoa. We are very grateful to Tait Communications who sponsored our table to allow us to enjoy this wonderful evening.

So proud to see Collaborate flashing up on screen, showcasing shots of our awesome community in action and celebrate using tech for social good in front of the Prime Minister Jacinda Arden and over 900 tech superstars! The shout out from stage to the incredible community of volunteers who responded to Christchurch attacks was an especially sad and special moment. It was inspiring to see so many tech companies making huge impact in NZ that really care and exciting to think...what if...what if every person in this room volunteered for just 1 hour, imagine the change we could create together!”
