Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background

I am a marketing and communications professional with a passion for digital and social media. I studied Media Studies at Vic Uni and then went to on a Graduate Diploma in PR and Comms at AUT. I am passionate about animals – especially spending time with my corgi – Ernie, keeping fit, and travelling the world.

What volunteer opportunities have you been involved in or are you currently involved in?

This year I volunteered to collect for the SPCA during their annual appeal. I also enjoy helping the Collaborate team with their social media strategy to encourage more Kiwis into volunteering.

Who is your biggest hero or inspiration?

Tim Urban from waitbutwhy.com. Tim is a modern day inspiration and genius level thinker and communicator. His insights challenge us humans to think outside the square when it comes to work, life, relationships and decision making. You never look at yourself or the world the same after reading one of his articles.  

What is your mantra or what is the most important value you live by?

Honesty and integrity – these are very important values to me and in the work that I do.
