Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background

I am full Samoan. Born in Lower Hutt, Wellington NZ.
I attended Rongotai College and currently working at Victoria University of Wellington.
I graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Honours degree and currently on my final year of Masters.
I love playing instruments and in my down time I like to chill with family and friends and play sport.

What volunteer opportunities have you been involved in or are you currently involved in?

I have been involved with Kids Camp New Zealand which is a group that helps and supports young children who are facing difficulties within their respective homes/communities.

I have also been a part a few of the associations at Vic which allow me to exercise my skills and learn new things.

I volunteer because I am someone who likes to serve the people and the community. I also enjoy volunteering because it’s a space where rewarding can be received in both directions of those I am offering my time to help but also rewarding for myself as the volunteer.

If you could describe volunteering in one word, what would that word be?

Love

Who is your biggest hero or inspiration?
